ADJUSTING YOUR EYES TO YOUR PRESCRIPTION GLASSES

Whether you got glasses for the first time or were given a stronger prescription, you may have to undergo a short adjustment period before you feel comfortable wearing them. The adjustment period can take a few days to up to two weeks. The best way to help your eyes adjust to your new glasses is to continue wearing them. As soon as you wake up, wear them as much as you can each day. If you still have your old prescription glasses, consider stashing them away.
